Continuous Improvement Of Enterprise Production And Operation The Added Value Of Small And Medium-Sized Industrial Enterprises Above Designated Size Increased Year On Year

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that in October, the production and operation of small and medium-sized enterprises in China continued to improve, the domestic and foreign trade markets steadily expanded, and the confidence in development continued to increase.

In the first 10 months, the added value of industrial SMEs above designated size increased by 7.0% year on year. Among them, 39 of 41 major industries maintained growth in added value, which strongly supported the steady growth of industrial economy. In October, the production index of small and medium-sized enterprises was 50.7%, which was in the expansion range for six consecutive months.

From the perspective of sales, in October, the sales of textile clothing, grain, oil and food, furniture, household appliances and other products in the domestic market rebounded significantly.

At the same time, SMEs actively expand overseas markets. In October, the export index of small and medium-sized enterprises was 51.9%, up 0.3 percentage points month on month, which was in the boom zone for seven consecutive months.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the next step would be to continue to improve the public service system for SMEs, continue to carry out financing promotion, digital transformation and other service activities, and effectively help enterprises reduce costs, improve quality and increase efficiency.
