Currently, the countries involved in the negotiations include 12 countries such as the United States and Canada, Mexico, Chile, Peru, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brunei and so on. The target of TPP is not only limited to the tariff reductions among the participating countries, but also tries to establish standards on many topics, such as intellectual property rights, environmental protection and labor rights. If Philippines wants to participate in TPP, it needs to take the initiative of taking into account the specific domain norms in line with TPP requirements.

Cai Qiren (Alfredo P) > a href= "http://fz.sjfzxm.com/" > PCCI < /a > president (Alfredo Yao) said that Philippines needs to further improve public construction so that all industries can benefit from Philippines's participation in international trade agreements.

Moreover, when Philippines is ready for the 2015 ASEAN community, it can take the opportunity to expand the value chain (value chain) and promote trade and investment activities.

Cai Qiren also believes that participation in ASEAN integration is an important medium for Philippines to participate in TPP, and PCCI regards TPP as an important agreement. Philippines needs to reform before participating in TPP negotiations.

In response to this, the US ambassador to Philippines, David de Granger, once again stressed that the United States supports Philippines's reform in order to achieve comprehensive growth.

In 2011 P, Philippines and the United States signed the Partnership for Growth (for) to provide joint development strategies in the areas of system reform, legal norms, anti corruption and private sector development in the United States and the United States.

Cai Qiren said that in view of the long-term cooperative relationship between the United States and Philippines in trade, economic and political affairs, it will be able to discuss how PCCI can assist the United States and Philippines government in strengthening common growth relations.

Cai Qiren also added that the adoption of the Competition Law and the Customs Modernization and Tariffs Acts in Philippines is also important for Philippines.

On the other hand, Cai Qiren also mentioned the importance of enhancing the efficiency of the power sector to Philippines. The United States provided technical assistance to Philippines power cooperation through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to enhance Philippines's domestic electricity supply and reduce production costs. PCCI has been working to attract investment in electricity production and to solve the problem of power supply shortage and price competitiveness. P
