Obama Submits $Six Hundred Billion Economic Stimulus Package

The pitional team of US President elect Obama is about to submit an economic stimulus plan to members of Congress. The plan is now in the final stage of planning.

The report quoted a senior official of the Obama team as saying that the Obama team will explain the plan to Democrats in Congress recently.

The plan is estimated to be between $675 billion and $775 billion.

The report also said that Obama is scheduled to meet with speaker of the house of Representatives Pelosi and Senate majority leader Reed on 5 may discuss the plan.

In the wake of the financial crisis, the US economy is in trouble.

In order to avoid a serious recession in the US economy, Obama arranged his economic team to plan a new large-scale economic stimulus plan shortly after he was elected president of the United States in November 4th last year.

According to US media reports, the plan will stimulate economic growth and increase employment by increasing infrastructure and tax cuts.
