According to the statistics of Jinjiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, since this year, the export of shoes in Fujian, Jinjiang has gradually become better, and the export scale has further expanded, and export orders rebounded.
Looking back to the first half of 2010, Jinjiang's footwear exports amounted to US $1 billion 100 million, an increase of 6.8% over the same period last year, of which the self operated exports were about 995 million US dollars, up by more than 70%.
The recovery of footwear export in Jinjiang has increasingly highlighted the employment dilemma of Jinjiang's labor-intensive footwear products. In the second half of this year, Jinjiang footwear enterprises have begun to recruit workers, but many enterprises still face the problem of underemployment.
