Pakistan Statistics Bureau Data Shows Rebound Of Clothing Exports

The Dawn News reported on September 17 that Pakistan's textile exports rebounded significantly in August, with an export volume of about 1.64 billion US dollars, up 13% compared with the same period last year and 29.4% compared with July this year, according to the Pakistan Statistics Bureau. In the first two months of fiscal year 2024-25 (July and August 2024), the export amount of textiles and clothing increased by 5.4% compared with the US $2.76 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year, with a total amount of about US $2.92 billion.
