Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Water Resources jointly released the Catalogue of National Encouraged Industrial Water saving Processes, Technologies and Equipment (2023), which includes 171 technologies, including 13 technologies in textile printing and dyeing industry.

It is understood that in order to implement the work deployment of the Industrial Water Efficiency Improvement Action Plan and the Industrial Wastewater Recycling Implementation Plan, accelerate the research and development and application promotion of advanced water-saving processes, technologies and equipment, and improve industrial water efficiency, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Water Resources decided to carry out the collection of national industrial water-saving processes, technologies and equipment in 2023.

The industrial field involves such water-saving processes, technologies and equipment as steel, petrochemical and chemical industry, textile dyeing and finishing, paper making, food, leather, pharmacy, building materials, non-ferrous metals, machinery, coal, power and other industrial industries, such as wastewater recycling, efficient cooling or washing, high water consumption production process substitution, intelligent water management and control, unconventional water utilization, and water conservation, pollution reduction and carbon reduction synergy, And water-saving technology, technology and equipment suitable for the Yellow River Basin, Beijing Tianjin Hebei and other serious water shortage areas, and the Yangtze River Economic Belt and other water environment sensitive areas. According to the stage of process, technology and equipment, it is mainly divided into R&D, industrialization demonstration and promotion application.

R&D refers to the processes, technologies and equipment that have achieved major technological breakthroughs, achieved phased results, achieved obvious water-saving effects, and clearly defined intellectual property rights through independent R&D, technology introduction, integrated innovation, etc., and have been initially verified by users.

Industrialization demonstration refers to major key processes, technologies and equipment with basically mature technology, clear intellectual property rights, significant water-saving effect, broad prospects for promotion and application, and basic conditions for application but not yet industrialization.

The promotion and application category refers to the process, technology and equipment with mature technology, stable equipment performance, good water-saving effect, clear intellectual property rights, and significant economic and social benefits. At present, there are mature application cases, relatively low technology penetration rate, but industrialized production has been achieved.
