Mexico's financier newspaper reported on June 4th that the Ministry of Mexico's Economic Affairs said on Wednesday that the government of Mexico yesterday completed negotiations with the US and Canada on the unification rules of the New Mexico agreement from the technical level, paving the way for the formal implementation of the agreement in July 1st. The main rules of the uniform rules include rules of origin, procedure of origin, textiles and clothing products, and customs management and trade facilitation. Mora, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of economic affairs of Mexico, pointed out that the establishment of these rules will provide a definite legal guarantee for the implementation of the US Mexico agreement, echoing the main concerns of the domestic industry. The Mexican side's negotiation team was led by the Ministry of economic affairs, and the finance and public credit department and the relevant departments of the Customs General Administration participated in the negotiations. At present, the English version of the text can be found on the website of Ministry of Mexico's economic affairs, and the Spanish and French versions will be released later.
