Hangzhou Customs Investigation And Analysis Of Hundreds Of Entry And Exit Illegal Goods Carrying Cross Boundary Goods

Recently, the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport Customs seized more than 100 pieces of passengers' prohibited and restricted articles at the Xiaoshan International Airport inspection site, including taxable articles, endangered animal and plant products, cultural relics and so on. The customs reminded that whether it is Spring Festival outing or returning home to visit relatives, it is necessary to discriminate the annual goods and personal belongings in the luggage.
It is unreasonable to carry articles.
In December 16th last year, the Customs at the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport did not declare the entry into the inspection site, and seized 1 Chinese tourists from South Korea. They carried 25 items of clothing, bracelets, belts, satchel, cosmetics and so on. Due to the large number of undeclared taxable articles coming into the territory, the transfer departments had been transferred to the regulatory departments for further processing.
It is understood that the total value of residents' overseas acquisition items within 5000 yuan (including 5000 yuan) will be released tax-free. Duty-free items, together with the total amount of shopping at port entry duty free shops, are not allowed to exceed 8000 RMB yuan. If a traveller carries an entry item beyond the prescribed tax exemption limit, he shall voluntarily declare to the customs the duty paid according to the regulations.
In addition, 20 kinds of articles such as mobile phones which are acquired by overseas passengers are not tax-free. When entering the country, they must declare to the customs voluntarily, and the customs shall do tax collection within the reasonable amount of their own use.
No certificate of exit from cultural relics
In January 9th, by the Zhejiang cultural relics appraisal station, 7 of the 8 suspected artifacts seized by Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport customs were prohibited or restricted cultural relics. Among them, 7 cultural relics include the "Qing Yong Zheng year", the Qing bean green glaze chrysanthemum petal bowl, the "Qing Dynasty Tongzhi year system", the pastels, fish and algae plates, and 2 pieces of cultural relics which are prohibited from leaving the country. In the period of the Republic of China, 5 pieces of cultural relics such as porcelain plates, jars and porcelain bowls were restricted. The case has also been transferred to the regulatory department for further processing.
According to the law of the People's Republic of China on the protection of cultural relics, the exit of cultural relics shall be examined by the entry and exit examination and verification institutions designated by the administrative department for cultural relics under the State Council. The cultural relics administrative departments under the State Council shall issue the exit permit for cultural relics and exit from the ports designated by the administrative department for cultural relics under the State Council. Any unit or individual who delivers, mails or carries cultural relics out of the country shall declare to the customs, and the customs shall release them on the basis of cultural relics exit permit.
Annual goods screening should be cautious.
In January 9th, the customs of the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport seized 2 boxes of bird's nest and weighed 0.76 kilograms from a Chinese traveller's luggage when they checked the flights from Hongkong, China. Customs officers carry out the interception of the above articles according to law.
It is reported that bird's nest (except canned bird's Nest), shark's fin, sea cucumber, sausages and other animals and plants and their products are often purchased by tourists as the annual goods. However, these animals and plants and their products are prohibited from carrying in the list of animals and plants and their products that are prohibited from carrying or sending in People's Republic of China. If they are brought into the country, they must be examined and approved by the relevant administrative departments of the state and have quarantine certificates issued by the official organs of the exporting countries or regions. Otherwise, the customs will be withheld.
In 2019, the Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport customs intercepted 7010 batches of prohibited substances in the travel inspection channel, 158 batches of harmful organisms were intercepted, and 48 batches of quarantine pests.
Endangered animals and plants are prohibited from carrying into the country.
In January 13th, the customs and Excise Department of Hangzhou customs confirmed that 2 suspected endangered animal products seized by 1 customs officers from the Qatar entry were identified by the customs and Excise Department of Hangzhou customs. They weighed 2965 grams. The scales are used as appendix II species of the CITES convention. The above items will be handed over to the customs anti smuggling department for further processing.
According to the provisions of the international trade convention on endangered species of Wild Fauna and flora, the law of the People's Republic of China on the protection of wildlife and the regulations on the import and export of endangered species of wild animals and plants in People's Republic of China, the import and export of endangered animals and plants and their products are prohibited from trading, carrying or mailing endangered animals and plants and their products without the import and export permits issued by the state authorities.
