Up To 500 Thousand! Shenzhen'S Latest Overseas Trademark Subsidy Policy Has Come Down.

According to relevant media, the Shenzhen Market Supervision Bureau has formulated the operation rules for special funds of the Shenzhen market supervision authority in the field of intellectual property, which has been implemented since November 5, 2019 and is valid for five years. In addition, the tenth rules of operation specify the standards and conditions for the registration of trademarks.

　　 Up to 500 thousand! When the trademark is down, apply for it as early as possible.

According to this regulation, the standards for the registration of trademarks are as follows:

(1) the applicant who has obtained the trademark registration certificate through the Madrid system shall be subsidized by the number of designated countries or regions, and shall be financed 1000 yuan in each designated country or region, and each piece shall be subsidized to 20 countries or regions at most. After obtaining the Madrid International Certificate of registration, the applicant will apply for financial assistance once a certificate is granted, and the same trademark will not be re funded after the approval is registered in the designated countries.

(two) the applicant has obtained the trademark registration certificate of the EU Intellectual Property Office, the African Intellectual Property Organization (OAPI) and the African Industrial Property Organization (ARIPO), and each of them has been granted a subsidy of 3000 yuan.

(three) if the applicant obtains a foreign trade mark registration certificate in a single country, he grants 1000 yuan for each piece, and the same applicant shall not receive more than 3 items in the year.

(four) the applicant has obtained a trademark registration certificate in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and each grant is 1000 yuan, and the same applicant shall not receive more than 3 pieces of subsidy per year.

(five) the applicant has obtained the domestic certification trademark and collective trademark registration certificate, and the certificate trademark and collective trademark have been granted 200 thousand yuan for each piece, and 500 thousand yuan for each geographical indication.

(six) the total annual subsidy from the first to four entries for the same applicant shall not exceed 500 thousand yuan, and only the application for trademark registration shall be subsidized.

" Operation rules include all aspects of intellectual property rights

It is reported that the "operation rules" is divided into four chapters and thirty-nine articles, namely the general provisions, conditions, standards and application materials, organization and management, annex four chapters. The key points are conditions, standards and application materials, and the conditions and standards for the declaration of each item are defined. The operative rules contain six major categories of policy systems, as follows:

(1) there are fifth to eleventh funding projects for the promotion of intellectual property creation capability. The main contents include domestic and foreign invention patents, PCT patent applications, patent agents, trademarks and copyrights. The main revision is to cancel the grant of pre empowered patents, optimize the grant structure of authorized patents, trademarks and copyrights, and improve the quality of intellectual property rights.

(two) there are twelfth to fourteenth funding projects for upgrading the level of intellectual property rights. The main contents include the intellectual property rights demonstration enterprises, the "intellectual property management standards", and the subsidization of intellectual property projects. The relevant provisions are aimed at improving the award of high value intellectual property rights and optimizing the funding system of enterprise intellectual property management mechanism.

(three) there are fifteenth to nineteenth funding projects for the promotion of the use of intellectual property rights. The main contents include the construction of copyright demonstration units, the construction of patent industry alliance, intellectual property appraisal, patent navigation and major special projects. The relevant provisions are aimed at strengthening operation and gradually improving the market-oriented mechanism of intellectual property rights operation; strengthening analysis, focusing on supporting the analysis and evaluation of intellectual property rights and industrial navigation, and promoting the quality of economic development by using intellectual property rights.

(four) intellectual property rights publicity and education training projects involve twentieth to twenty-third articles, including intellectual property training and publicity. The relevant provisions are aimed at strengthening the training of medium and long term systematic intellectual property rights and improving the construction of intellectual property talents echelons in our city.

(five) there are twenty-fourth to twenty-sixth projects funded by the promotion of intellectual property service capability. The main contents include the introduction of intellectual property service institutions, the cultivation of quality service institutions, and the matching awards of brand service institutions. The relevant provisions are aimed at promoting the scale, specialization and branding of the service industry through the introduction of high-end service institutions at home and abroad and the cultivation of local service institutions.

(six) there are twenty-seventh to twenty-ninth projects funded by the project to enhance the protection of intellectual property rights. The main contents include intellectual property rights protection, intellectual property dispute mediation, and intellectual property protection system construction and innovation. The relevant provisions are aimed at supporting the protection and risk prevention and control of intellectual property rights in key industries, and guiding social forces to participate in mediation of intellectual property disputes and supporting the establishment of a comprehensive intellectual property protection system.

The policy system involves all aspects of intellectual property creation, utilization, management, service and protection, covering all aspects of patents, trademarks, copyright and so on.
