According to Japanese economic news reports, Vietnam's popularity is increasing as a candidate for Japanese enterprises to enter overseas. The popularity of the survey by private enterprises in Japan shows that Vietnam has risen from ninth to second from 5 years ago in 2018. As Vietnam's income level rises, as the consumer market becomes more attractive, services and restaurants will expand or expand into Vietnam.

The Japanese Resorz company, which provides support services for Japanese enterprises to enter overseas, has received 2776 Japanese consulted statistics from April 2018 to March 2019.

Japan's top priority is China, which has the largest number of wholesale and retail businesses, accounting for 26% of the total number of Japanese companies stationed in China, 5 of the same survey conducted in the past two years ago, followed by manufacturing, accounting for about 25%. Due to the impact of Sino US trade friction, large enterprises are moving more and more from manufacturing base to other countries, but the Chinese market is the largest in the world. The above survey report points out that "Japanese enterprises regard China as a consumer market, which is very clear."

Ranked second in Vietnam, popularity is rising rapidly. From the industry perspective, manufacturing industry accounts for 26%, wholesale and retail trade accounts for 23%, and service industry accounts for 9%. Affected by the Sino US trade war, Vietnam is most popular as a candidate for transfer from China's health base. Resorz pointed out that "Vietnam's national income increased as an attractiveness of the consumer market".

Therefore, many Japanese wholesale and retail enterprises discussed stationing in Vietnam. For example, Stripe International, a Japanese casual wear enterprise, is planning to expand its business in Vietnam, and it is expected to increase the total number of Vietnamese stores to about 100. In addition, Sumitomo Sumitomo opened a supermarket in Vietnam's capital Hanoi in December (2018). UNIQLO planned to enter Vietnam in 2019. Muji also said it would be stationed in Vietnam in Ming (2020).
