Nike said that the Chinese footwear manufacturer Bestwinn Fujian produces, uses, sells or exports sports shoes to the United States, which are exactly the same as Nike's patented sports shoes, and infringe on Nike's at least 20 design patents.
After verification by various parties, the reporter was informed that the whole name of Fujian Bestwinn company, which was prosecuted by Nike, is Xiamen Chengda import and Export Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xiamen Chengda").
For this matter, the head of the company said that the incident was led by the company's leader, and the leader is now on a business trip abroad and will give a detailed reply yesterday afternoon.
But as of press release, the responsible person did not reply.
Nike filed a lawsuit filed with the Federal District Court in Nevada, which shows that Nike has warned Xiamen many times about patent infringement. However, Xiamen Chengdu still continues to produce and sell infringing shoes, including Nike's popular Flyknit series.
And since 2013, Nike has sent mail to the other party to stop the production of infringing sports shoes, and sent representatives to the international professional shoe exhibition to meet with relevant officials in Xiamen, telling the company's actions to be infringed.
But in the past three years, this kind of communication has not achieved any effect.
At present, in addition to monetary compensation and legal trial, Nike's lawsuit requests that the court immediately and permanently prohibit Xiamen from continuing to produce and sell infringing sports shoes.
According to public information, Xiamen Chengda was founded in 2006 and has 60 employees.

Nike believes that despite the large number of Shanzhai enterprises in China, the company is no longer a nobody. Nike will use legal means to safeguard its rights.
In fact, Nike launched a patent lawsuit against another international sports brand earlier this year, claiming that some of the products of American Footwear Group Cage infringed Nike's 8 patent designs in the past two years.
In the Chinese market, the spread of Shanzhai Nike is no longer new.
In January this year, the Xiamen Customs seized 14 thousand and 800 pairs of "cottage" casual shoes, which covered many famous brands including Nike, Adidas, Puma and so on, and the total value was about $150 thousand.
In this regard, Yang Dayun, President of Cci Capital Ltd, an international fashion brand, told reporters that in fact, Nike and other big international brands have always had a high enthusiasm for maintaining patent rights and cracking down on counterfeit brands in Shanzhai, but little effect has been achieved.
