According to the client information, the US office of trade representative requested that the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba group must intensify its efforts to crack down on counterfeit goods on December 17th, otherwise it would be listed as "notorious".

List.

On the same day, the office of the United States trade representative announced the "notorious market list" report in 2015. The names of 33 online platforms and entity markets were obvious in terms of counterfeiting and selling, including 5 Chinese entities: Beijing Xiushui Street, Shanghai Cheap Road wholesale market, Shenzhen Luohu City, Guangzhou Jinlong plate market and Shantou Chenghai market.

The US trade representative office was founded by the US Congress in 1962, and its leader is the US trade representative and Ambassador level cabinet official.

The agency launched a list of notorious markets in 2011 to list online platforms and physical markets for counterfeit and pirated products worldwide, aimed at assisting institutions in increasing their efforts to combat intellectual property violations.

Although Alibaba and Taobao are not on the list, the US office of trade has reported that it still receives

brand

Fang's complaints about Alibaba selling large quantities of counterfeit products, especially Taobao, are most serious.

Although the Alibaba has taken measures to improve counterfeiting, enforcement procedures are too slow, difficult to operate and lack pparency.

"Fake commodities are the common problems facing the global electricity supplier enterprises. We are making every effort to solve them and fight with them," Alibaba told Reuters in an e-mail statement. The group will continue to work hard with the relevant governments, brands and distributors. It is committed to protecting intellectual property rights and cracking down on fake commodities and maintaining market integrity.

In 2014, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce responded to the US's "notoriety market" list. The report was ambiguous, and there was neither solid evidence nor detailed analysis. It was very irresponsible and impersonal.

In the latest US report of 2015, the US side appreciated the Chinese government's efforts to strengthen the conventional anti counterfeiting measures in the real market in recent years, but the new policies in many big cities have not been widely implemented.

With the help of some notorious markets, fake and shoddy products from China continue to flow into other markets around the world.

It is reported that Xiushui Street is not the first time to be on the list.

Xiushui group staff said 18, has noted the list.

Insiders said the report did not specify the criteria for evaluation, nor did the US personnel conduct any field investigation.

In recent years, Xiushui Street has made many efforts in regulating the healthy development of the market, and has been affirmed by the national business department.

Shantou Chenghai district is China's largest toy production base. The office of the United States trade representative said in its report that the Chenghai market manufactures and sells counterfeit toys.

Chenghai district quality and Technology Supervision Bureau, a person in charge said that the government departments attach great importance to the development of the toy industry. The municipal and provincial quality supervision departments will conduct random sampling on the toy products of Chenghai district from time to time. From the results of spot checks in recent years, the passing rate is basically above 90%.

Taobao and Alibaba websites were previously listed on the notorious market, and were removed from the list in 2011 and 2012.

In April this year, the American clothing and Footwear Association complained to the US trade office, accusing Alibaba of the serious problem of selling tickets, and hoped to include Taobao in the notorious market list.

There are Gucci (Gucci) and YSL (Saint Laurent).

Luxury goods

The brand's Kai Yun group also sued Alibaba two times last year and this year, accusing Ali of being aware of the selling behavior and benefiting from it.

The US trade representative's office said that the US side will monitor Alibaba's improvement in cracking down on counterfeit goods and accepting complaints next year.

The US trade office also pointed out that Tmall mall is also one of the shopping platforms criticized by the brand side.

Previous complaints focused on Taobao.

Unlike Taobao, Tmall is a platform for brand owners to operate and control more strictly, while Taobao has millions of online suppliers selling all kinds of goods.

The US trade department suggested that Tmall should increase the same scrutiny as Taobao did.

"Changes in technology and ideas will lead to all kinds of discontent and confusion.

Today I was in China, someone said I was selling fake Ma Yun, some people said I was a subversive Ma Yun, the destroyer's Ma Yun......

I don't care what the pressure and accusations we got from reformers 30 years ago, and the resistance and accusation against corruption now, are we? "In December 18th, Alibaba chairman of the board of directors, Ma Yun, said at the closing ceremony of the world Internet Conference in Wuzhen.
