EU'S Comment On Fire Retardant Limitation Proposal

The objective of this review is to collect information and evidence on the feasibility of DecaBDE replacement.

In July 1, 2008, the European Court ruled that DecaBDE in Europe could no longer be used in electrical and electronic products.

The parties concerned can submit comments by the online questionnaire at the latest by December 15, 2013.

The proposal is expected to be introduced in August 1, 2014.
