NAFED chief executive said: "we will purchase cotton directly from farmers and pay within 7 days of the working day.

After mid November, if the cotton market price falls to the lowest support price, the cotton we purchase will enter the market.

It is understood that the current CCI and NAFED have divided the cotton procurement area.

According to reports, the Maharashtra cooperative cotton planting farm Marketing Association is the source of NAFED cotton procurement, and it is expected to open 109 procurement centers in Maharashtra.
