The total volume of inspection in the whole country is 2 million 791 thousand packs of 631 thousand tons, up 370 thousand tons or 141.6% over the same period of the previous year (261 thousand tons), of which 2 million 305 thousand tons of 522 thousand tons of inspection in Xinjiang, 486 thousand copies of 110 thousand tons of inland provinces, and 56% processing plants in the country have begun regular processing and testing. The number of 1139 factories has increased by more than that of the same period last year.

Compared with the previous period, the number of processing plants in the whole country increased by 667 and the number of laboratories increased by 21.

In the cotton producing provinces, the volume of inspection in Xinjiang is 2 million 305 thousand packs of 522 thousand tons, accounting for 82.6% of the national inspection volume, up 134.7% from the same period last year, of which Xinjiang's local inspection volume is 1 million 246 thousand bags of 282 thousand tons, and the Construction Corps's inspection volume is 1 million 59 thousand bags and 239 thousand tons, and the ratio between local and corps inspection is about 54:46.

The cotton producing provinces with more than 10000 tons of inspection volume in the mainland include Shandong, Hubei and Hebei. Among them, the inspection volume of Shandong is 192 thousand packages of 43 thousand tons, accounting for 6.9% of the national inspection volume, and the inspection volume of Hubei is 123 thousand bags of 28 thousand tons, accounting for 4.4% of the national inspection volume. The inspection volume of Hebei is 96 thousand bags, 22 thousand tons, accounting for 3.4% of the national inspection volume, and the inspection volume of Shandong and Hubei has increased significantly over the same period.

The inspection volume in Tianjin and Anhui is about 0.5-0.3 million tons, accounting for 0.8%-0.6% of the national inspection volume.
