What is the most disgusting behavior of multinational companies to the Chinese public?

On the 14 day, the Guangdong provincial investigation and Research Center released the "public evaluation report on the image of pnational corporations in China" in 2007. The report is a survey of 70 well-known multinational enterprises in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Zhuhai, Dongguan and other Pearl River Delta cities as well as Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou.

According to the survey, the sale of the same goods has set a higher price for Chinese consumers; the product manual has conceal the product defects and reminders in some English manuals; pferring the polluting industries to Chinese production; and refusing to compensate Chinese consumers for the same products under the pretext of Chinese laws and regulations is recognized as the 4 most disgusting behavior of the Chinese public by multinational companies.

At the same time, the pfer of advanced technology to Chinese enterprises, participation in China's public welfare charities, training of local talents and compliance with Chinese laws and regulations are the best practices for multinational companies to arouse public interest.

It is worth noting that, although 76.22% of the interviewees believe that MNCs have fulfilled their social responsibilities in China, only 22.54% of the respondents considered the social responsibility of MNCs to be proportionate to the huge benefits they have gained in China.

According to the survey, nearly four of adults believe that foreign companies handle consumer complaints better than domestic ones.

Respondents believed that foreign businesses performed better than Chinese Enterprises: brand and marketing (57.74%), handling consumer complaints (36.37%) and observing commercial credit (33.43%).

For many multinational companies who claim to be unprofitable in China, more than half of respondents do not believe it.

81.29% of respondents believed that multinational companies discriminated against Chinese employees.
