The most important component is propylene from naphtha cracking and ethylene refining and catalytic refining.

Therefore, its by-product propylene decreases directly.

According to the actual situation, the supply of propylene is very short once the ethylene plant of the related enterprises is reduced or overhauled and overhauled.

At the same time, even the relatively scarce propylene is not all used for the production of acrylonitrile.

It is understood that in recent years, polypropylene and propylene oxide and other downstream products occupy the bulk of propylene demand, propylene feedstock that can be supplied to acrylonitrile enterprises is very limited.

This has led to the shortage of acrylonitrile in China for many years, and the annual import volume accounts for about 30% of the total demand.
