During the "11th Five-Year" period, with the support of the National Standardization Management Committee and the competent departments at all levels, the National Silk Standardization Technical Committee focused on strengthening the guiding ideology and objectives of the "11th Five-Year development plan" of the cocoon and silk industry.

As a starting point, we should promote technological progress, standardize market order, continuously upgrade the competitiveness of industries and products, and play an important role in promoting the international trade of silk, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and enhancing the status and influence of our country in the field of international standards.

The main achievements are as follows:

First, standardized work teams and organizations have achieved remarkable results.

In 2009, with the support of the China Textile Industry Association, the National Standardization Management Committee officially approved the GB comprehensive [2008]98 document. On the basis of the original national textile standardization silk Technical Committee, the National Silk Standardization Technical Committee was set up. The number of members of the National Committee for standardization was increased from 46 to 88, marking a new stage of development of China's silk standardization.

Two, the standard quantity and level have been significantly improved, and the structure is more reasonable.

Cocoon and silk industry

21 national standards and 57 industry standards including silk, silk and silk products such as GB/T1797-2008 raw silk, GB/T15551-2007 silkworm silk fabric, silk quilt and so on, have been formed, and a cocoon silk technical standard system with more comprehensive coverage and better system has been formed; and the GB/T24252-2009 standard has been established.

In 2009, the bid committee put forward the proposal for the international standard setting of "raw silk electronic test and test method" to ISO/TC38. It has already completed the voting of the draft Committee, and the relevant research and formulation work is proceeding in an orderly way.

The successful formulation of this international standard will effectively enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of China's silk industry as a traditional competitive industry, and strive for more discourse power in the international standard field.

In 2012, it was the comprehensive implementation of the "12th Five-Year development plan" of the cocoon and silk industry.

At the same time, we should tighten up the research on the international standard of the electronic test methods for raw silk, and improve the ability and level of substantive participation in international standardization work. We will strive to make new and greater contributions to the healthy and stable development of China's cocoon and silk industry on the basis of the "Silk Standard" work in 11th Five-Year.
