Heshan Creates "China Men'S Wear Shoes Production Base"

From the seminar on strategic development of China's men's shoes and shoes production base held in December 8th, it is learned that the future development direction of Heshan footwear industry will move towards the goal of creating "China's men's shoes and shoes production base".

In this seminar, domestic experts gathered to create a "China Men's shoes production base - Heshan."

The seminar was sponsored by Heshan economic and Trade Bureau, Heshan footwear industry association, Guangdong business management consulting association, and Southern Newspaper Group "Chinese and foreign shoes news" magazine.

Yang Chengjie, President of China leather and shoemaking Research Institute, Li Yuzhong, vice chairman of China Leather Association and other domestic experts, as well as Ye Rongchao, vice mayor of Heshan, responsible persons of relevant departments in Heshan, and brothers, county and city footwear associations, and heads of Heshan chamber of Commerce and industry attended the seminar.

The footwear industry is the second major characteristic industry in Heshan. It is understood that the footwear industry in Heshan has a long history.

After the reform and opening up, the footwear industry in Heshan gradually developed and expanded. The Heshan municipal government and the municipal government actively implemented a series of preferential policies for investment, creating a favorable environment for the healthy development of Heshan's footwear industry. A large number of large scale, strong and reputable foreign-funded and private shoe-making enterprises rapidly developed and flourished, becoming the second major industries in Heshan's industrial system, next only to the textile service industry.

At present, there are 333 footwear production and related enterprises in Heshan, of which 48 are over scale enterprises, 15 are foreign-funded enterprises, and 613 are trading enterprises in all kinds of shoes.

When the shoe industry developed most vigorously, 98% of the world's famous brand leather shoes were produced in Heshan.

At the same time, the Heshan footwear industry association and footwear enterprises have realized that the footwear industry in Heshan must scale up and enhance its competitiveness.

Yang Chengjie played an important role in the development of footwear industry in Heshan. At the seminar, Mr. Yang Chengjie analyzed the general situation and development trend of China's shoe industry base. Li Yuzhong explained the matters and requirements that should be paid attention to in the shoe making base of Heshan footwear industry association. Wang Jian, chairman of the leather industry association, also analyzed the development trend of leather shoes industry cluster in Guangdong.

They believe that the idea of creating a regional brand of "Chinese men's shoes and shoes production base" in Heshan will play a key role in promoting the future development of Heshan footwear industry, which is of positive significance to the establishment of an industry quality certification system for Heshan footwear industry, the promotion of technological innovation in the industry, the construction of the main brand, and the improvement of internal management of enterprises.

To achieve a win-win situation between the government and enterprises, Ye Rongchao said at the seminar that the Heshan municipal Party committee and the municipal government fully support the assumption that the footwear industry association of Heshan will create the regional brand of "China's men's shoes and shoes production base, Heshan", and build the brand name brand production base of men's shoes. This brand can further promote the development of Heshan shoemaking enterprises, achieve a win-win situation between the government and enterprises. At the same time, it will further enhance the visibility of Heshan's characteristic industries and promote the upgrading of the quality and quantity of the Heshan shoe making industry.

Relevant person in charge of Heshan economic and Trade Bureau said in an interview with reporters after the meeting that in recent years, Heshan actively adopted various measures to serve the footwear enterprises, build an industrial service platform, and serve the enterprises in an all-round way. Now, Heshan is the bridgehead of western Guangdong, and the shoe industry has a reasonable industrial layout, and its industrial supporting facilities are developing and improving. In the future, more and more strong shoe enterprises will be attracted to invest and develop in Heshan.
