According to reports, a committee under the World Trade Organization yesterday (October 30th) said that the EU's footwear products to China were levying.

The complaint is second complaints against the European Union launched by the Chinese authorities to the world trade organization.

In July, China won a complaint when the European Union alleged that China dumped nuts and bolts at the European market at an unfair price.

The Chinese authorities mentioned the above footwear products complaints to the World Trade Organization in February last year.

Before that, the EU decided to extend anti-dumping duties on footwear products in China and Vietnam, because the manufacturers of footwear products in Spain and Italy said they could not compete with cheap imports.

However, the tariff was opposed even within the European Union because consumers had to buy expensive products.

Both China and EU welcomed the decision made by the WTO today.

Both parties can appeal within 60 days.
