Chen Jingbo suggested that in order to prevent the occupational diseases of shoemaking workers, shoe manufacturers should reform their production processes, improve their working environment, reduce the use of inferior raw materials, strengthen the supervision of government functional departments, and regularly supervise and supervise the operation of benzene workshops by health supervision institutions, and supervise the management, maintenance and updating of labor protection equipment.

Regular health check ups for workers before and after employment are made for early detection, prevention and control.

Footwear companies should also make clear that those who have occupational taboos with benzene, such as central nervous system diseases, mental disorders, hematological diseases and liver and kidney organic diseases, are not allowed to engage in benzene exposure.
