Industrial Standard Cotton Packing Polyester Strapping Belt Was Formally Implemented In March.
By the China national supply and marketing cooperative society, the national cotton processing Standardization Technical Committee has come to the conclusion that the standard of GH/T1068-2010 cotton packing polyester strapping belt jointly drafted by Nantong Yufeng plastic steel packaging Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhongmian machinery complete equipment Co., Ltd., China Cotton Association, cotton processing branch, China National Supply and Marketing Cooperative Corporation, Zhengzhou cotton and hemp Engineering Technology Design Institute, China cotton reserve management corporation and Zhengzhou commodity exchange, etc., has been repeatedly sought and continuously improved after 3 years of repeated certification and continuous improvement, and has been approved by experts. It has been officially promulgated and implemented in March 1, 2011.
The new cotton packing material, polyester strapping belt, is a supporting item for the reform of cotton quality inspection system. Its main technical parameters have been included in the GB6975-2007 cotton packaging national standard.
Because the national standard of GB6975-2007 cotton packaging was introduced at the initial stage of the new cotton packaging material, its parameters were incomplete and relatively general.

Meeting the national standards, however, can not meet the actual requirements of cotton packaging, and it is difficult to detect and identify individual indexes of packaging materials.
The reform of cotton packing package and packaging materials is an important part of the reform of cotton quality inspection system in China. It is also a key link in cotton logistics technology, and the technical standard of cotton baling material has a direct impact on the quality and safety of cotton packaging, pportation, warehousing and enterprise cotton.
The standard of polyester strapping tape for cotton packing is in reference to GB6975-2007.

On the basis of the technical requirements of GB/T22344-2008 "packaging polyester strapping belt" and the similar packaging materials of American cotton, the technical indicators were further clarified and improved, and the technical requirements and relevant inspection methods for the joint mode, the breaking force, the longitudinal cracking and the stripping force of the polyester strapping belt for cotton packing were defined, and the technical problems that the existing indexes of the binding belt national standard could not meet the actual packaging requirements of the cotton were solved.
The formulation and promulgation of the industry standard for cotton packing polyester strapping belt will help standardize the market of cotton packing and binding materials, and promote the sustainable and healthy development of new cotton packaging industry, and help to reduce the market.
