Zhejiang Adds New Channels To Taiwan'S Small Trade
At 10 a.m. on November 2nd, Taiwan ship "anda" was slowly berthing to Wenzhou Cangnan County Xiaguan to Taiwan.

The 11.88 tons of electrical and mechanical fittings and commodities loaded with "anda" have become the first batch of imported goods after the normalization of Wenzhou's small trade with Taiwan.

Xiao Shao, chairman of the Cangnan Taihe Foreign Trade Co., Ltd., said that "from the application of the terminal to the formal opening, Wenzhou customs has been fully supporting and helping, not only sending policies to the door, but also patiently guiding us to make preparations, so that we have never made any detours in the Taiwan trade."
In order to make our customs clearance simple and save worry, the customs officers took the trouble to go back and forth to the wharf for examination and approval, which gave us more confidence in the route connecting the two sides of the Strait.
The company has now completed consultations with Taiwan and will have two or three flights a week.
It is reported that Xia Guan has become the fourth officially opened small trade point in Hangzhou customs area following Jiaojiang, Yuhuan and Wenling.
Cangnan Xiaguan is located on the southernmost tip of the southeastern coast of Zhejiang and borders on Fuding, Fujian.
Local residents live on fishing and aquaculture. Their customs and language are similar to those of Taiwan fishermen.
As the bridgehead of Zhejiang's docking with the "Haixi economy", the opening of small trade routes to Xiaguan will not only greatly accelerate the pace of local economic integration into the Haixi Economic Circle, but also provide a new channel for cross-strait economic and trade exchanges and development.
