The challenge of the industry as a whole is greater than opportunity. It faces three major challenges: increasing supply pressure; increasing difficulty in stabilizing production; and importing great pressure.

Ma Shuping said at the Zhengzhou Agricultural Products Futures (cotton) summit forum that this year's cotton situation in China is flat, physiological period postponed, and growth is not as good as perennial.

If there are no major natural disasters in September and October, cotton will probably get a good harvest. If the latter climate is bad, stability will be a test last year.
