According to the State Statistics Bureau's China Economic Monitoring Center report and customs statistics, in the first quarter of 2010, the fixed assets investment in textile and garment industry was 13 billion 120 million yuan, up 20.7% over the same period last year.
Textile exports amounted to US $15 billion 210 million, an increase of 26.6% over the same period last year.
