Standard EN13613:2009 and BSEN13843:2009 have replaced old ones

EN13613:2001 and BSEN13843:2003.

Britain has implemented the new standard promulgated in February 28, 2010.


The new version of EN13613 is revised as follows:


The category of clause 4.1 is amended.

For class a products, the user weight is changed from "50kg to 100kg" to "20kg to 100kg".


The terms 6.7.2 and 6.10.2 describe speed, changing the original "5m/s" to "18km/h" (the two actually coincide).


The clauses 7d and E) have been modified.

For clause D, the "skateboard weight limit information" is replaced by the "maximum user weight limit".

For clause e, the "warning about wearing protective equipment at any time" is replaced by "suggestion: protective equipment is recommended".


Revised terms 8.3A and F) about maintenance and maintenance.

For clause A, "notes on the different properties and maintenance of various bearing structures" are replaced by "notes on bearing maintenance".

For clause A, the "check in use" is replaced by "check".


Amend the warning in Clause 8.4: "running up or jumping directly onto the skateboard can be dangerous".

The new version 13843 is revised as follows:


Clause 5.3 has added the word "shoe last".


Clause 5.4.7 has added "loosening the installed starting and / or braking device".


The installation of roller skates in Clause 5.4.1 has been revised: "the bottom of shoe last should cover at least 75% of roller skates sole".


The contents of maintenance and repair in Clause 7.2.3b have been revised: the "brake equipment parts" has been added.
