According to Wang Hong, Tianyuan Company purchased several Gem GEM8900-7 computer lockstitch sewing machines from Zhenjiang Changcheng Sewing Equipment Co., Ltd. in March 2007. Only two months after the purchase of the new motor, the "PWROFF" fault code appeared again. It was found that the "fuse and system power failure failure". After the control box was disassembled, it was found that the "1A" fuse was burned, and it was replaced Fuse After that, the "E03" and "E07" fault codes appeared before the belt test run, and the "PWROFF" fault code appeared after the belt was turned off and turned on. Since the motor (X050019515) was newly purchased and was not replaced with other machines, Wang Hong directly called the dealer to reflect the problem and put forward the requirements for the overhaul of the whole machine. Unexpectedly, the dealer's answer was "powerless" because "he could not communicate with the manufacturer" and asked him to solve the problem himself. Wang Hong tried to find the manufacturer's contact information from the manual, but failed. After that, he found the service hotline of Gem Company through online search. He called twice, but it was busy, so he had to ask our magazine for help.

He confirmed the matter, saying that it was "difficult to communicate" because he no longer cooperated with Gem Company for various reasons, but he did not know which company produced the electric cabinet and motor of the machine he sold. As for the motor "missing" for several months, Manager Jia said that it had already been sent to the manufacturer, but when the reporter wanted to further verify the relevant situation, he said "very busy" and hung up the phone in a hurry.

Wang Hong said that the Gem Company had contacted him that afternoon, and the faulty machine had been packed and sent back to the manufacturer. Later, he contacted the relevant person in charge of Great Wall Company. Later, he learned that this batch of machines were sold by him after he terminated the cooperation with Gem Company, and they were stock machines. When the machine breaks down, the dealer sends the motor to the dealer in Yangzhong, Jiangsu (the new area agent of Gem Company), and then the dealer sends it back to Gem Company. "The manufacturer's attitude was very positive. Later, he contacted me many times to confirm whether the machine had been sent, but he was quite dissatisfied with my report to the media. As an end user, we seldom had the opportunity to contact the manufacturer. We were inexperienced in this regard, but we had no other intention, just wanted to solve the problem," said Wang Hong.
