According to the chairman of the African cotton and textile industry alliance, the main reason for the decrease in exports of textiles and clothing to the United States in black African countries is that the production cost of textile and clothing in black African countries is much higher than that in Asian countries, though AGOA advantage is still lacking.

For example, wages in the textile and apparel industry of black African countries averaged $100, compared with an average of only $45 in Asian countries.

The export cycle of textile and clothing production in black African countries averaged 110 days, while Asian countries averaged only 45 days.

According to Lesotho newspapers, in Kenya, the United States and the sub Saharan Africa Trade Forum, Kenya's prime minister called on African countries to re-examine their foreign trade strategy, further strengthen and attach importance to trade between African countries, and help African small and medium-sized enterprises develop among African countries.
