Leather Footwear Products Collective Price Rises Accept Market Challenges
The first phase of the 103rd China Import and Export Fair ended on the 20 th of this month. In the first phase, facing the rising cost pressure, the Canton Fair appeared a phenomenon of collective price rise rarely seen in decades. After the price rises, the commodities are struggling with the market. Some are accepted and some are facing choices.
Survey: technology support rises in price
"At this Canton Fair, our company has adjusted the price again, and the price of each series has increased by some 5%. However, after the company set up a R & D center, the technology content of most products has been improved, and many new products have been launched to locate the high-end market. Therefore, customers can basically accept such a price increase. Shoes and hat exhibition area, a person in charge of Quanzhou footwear enterprise, Mr. Zhang said. In the clothing exhibition area, Quanzhou clothing brand enterprises such as Green, gorgeous underwear and so on, have greatly increased the price of this Canton Fair.
He told reporters that the majority of shoes and clothing enterprises in the brand exhibition area increased the price range, and some even reached more than 10%. In particular, enterprises that export their own brands, because of their strong bargaining power, have mastered the pricing power of products. "Brand enterprises not only have brand added value, but also have stronger product innovation than small and medium-sized enterprises, so their growth is relatively high, because the enterprises themselves have technological advantages and brand names." Mr. Zhang said.
Phenomenon: the use of high technology
In the interview, reporters found that many kinds of functional shoes launched by many enterprises were very much concerned by buyers. A shoe company has launched "nano function air conditioning shoes", with air conditioning devices and functional nanomaterials, which can decompose the sweat gland secretion of feet and relieve sweat and foot odor. At the same time, the air conditioning device in the shoes can effectively absorb the fresh air outside the shoe cavity during the walking process, and discharge the turbid gas in the shoe cavity to purify the air in the shoes. In addition, nano functional materials and air conditioning devices will work together to adjust the humidity and temperature inside the shoes to make the feet more comfortable.
Similar products are very popular at the scene, and the price is much higher than ordinary goods, but buyers are willing to accept it.
Analysis: poor competitiveness is difficult to survive
For the market reaction after the commodity price rise, Green clothing company official said: "now the price is brought up, the customer turnover is also inevitable. In the next one or two years, we will see how long the enterprise can last. If we can get through this period, there will be new opportunities for development."
Zhou Shiwei, director of Quanzhou Office of Fujian foreign economic and trade SME Service Center, analyzed that factors such as exchange rate fluctuation and price rise of raw materials have increased the cost of enterprises. Enterprises that lack brand value-added and technological content will hardly survive in the international market in the future.
Chen Danfeng, director of the center, added that the number of purchasers in the Canton Fair was about 3% higher than that of the previous session. However, as the Pazhou two phase pavilion has been put into use this year, the number of booths has increased, so the average number of booths has decreased a little.
