Adidas, the world's second largest sports brand, will conclude its partnership with Indonesian shoemaker Prima Inreksa in December this year.

George Krebelder, chief representative of Adidas group in Indonesia, said both sides had signed a letter of agreement to terminate their cooperation.

The Jakarta newspaper quoted George Krebelder as saying, "the date of termination of the contract remains unchanged, and it is still December 31, 2008".

Last year, Adidas group ordered 200000000 pairs of shoes in Indonesia.

Before that, because Prima was in debt difficulties, Adidas said it would terminate its partnership with Prima in July this year. Since 1997, the Adidas group has ordered 500000 pairs of shoes to Prima.

Prima is one of Adidas group's six sports shoes suppliers in Indonesia. Last year, Prima owed $37250000 to Indonesia's inner bank and $8000000 to its suppliers.
