In the first half of July this year, the growth rate of China's textile and clothing exports continued to slow down in the first half of the year, and the cumulative export grew by 10% year-on-year.
According to the latest statistics from China Textile Industry Association, despite the unprecedented pressure on China's textile and garment foreign trade this year, the core plates in the global market still have their own advantages. First of all, in the European plate, with the huge demand of the European Union, it has become a highlight in the market. Despite the decline in Hongkong's entrepot trade, the performance of Japan and ASEAN has also encouraged the popularity of the Asian plate. At the same time, compared with Eurasia, the North American Free Trade Area is obviously not strong. The United States is at the edge of negative growth.
According to the latest data released by China Customs, the price of textile and clothing exported to China has been rising since the beginning of this year, but the growth rate has been lower than that of last year. The price of products exported to the United States increased by about four percent. The EU market is relatively stable. The price of products this year is basically the same as last year, slightly fluctuated.
The experts believe that the three quarter is the exuberant period for the export of textile and garment industry, but whether the current export situation can be reversed in the following months, whether the annual export can maintain the two digit growth, all these remain to be seen.
