Tanning Enterprise Dingzhou Quyang

In order to ensure the air quality during the Olympic Games in Beijing, a few days ago, the Quyang Environmental Protection Bureau and the Dingzhou Environmental Protection Bureau jointly dispatched more than 100 monitors. They used forklifts and other heavy machinery to demolish 4 heavily polluting enterprises at the junction of Quyang and Dingzhou.

At the beginning of this year, 4 small chemical plants, small paper mills, small tanneries and small ironworks were built at the junction of Zhi Cao village in Quyang and the village of Tzi Zhuang village in Dingzhou. These 4 enterprises are all heavily polluting enterprises.

Quyang County inspectors found that after the 4 illegal enterprises in the law enforcement inspection, the regulatory measures could not be effectively implemented due to unclear geographical boundaries.

In July, after consultation with the environmental protection bureaus of Quyang and Dingzhou, the joint law enforcement authorities were forced to demolish the 4 heavily polluting enterprises.
