VISA Survey Shows: The Olympic Games Are Good For Enterprises.

As the world's largest card issuing organization and the global partner of International Olympic Committee, Visa international has released a survey report on the consumption desire of overseas visitors to Beijing during the Olympic Games.

According to the report, foreign tourists coming to China during the Olympic Games may start a new wave of consumption of clothing and other products in China during the Olympic Games.

The research report was conducted by Visa through a wide range of interviews. The 3140 Asian Pacific respondents and the overseas travellers who came to Beijing were tracked. The report shows that the most popular souvenirs for visitors to China during the Olympic Games were Chinese clothing, silk and handicrafts.

Specific to different types of respondents' subdivided consumption intention, among all respondents, female respondents indicated that they were most likely to buy Chinese silk.

Male respondents said they were most likely to buy electronic products.

For a single market, 63% of Australian tourists, 60% of New Zealand tourists and 52% of Singaporean tourists will give priority to clothing; 63% of Malaysia tourists want to buy Chinese silk.

For those who used to come to China, they prefer to buy local food and Olympic souvenirs.

Overseas visitors to China for the first time are more likely to buy clothing, antiques and electronic products.

The survey also shows that young tourists, aged 18-24, are interested in Chinese traditional and modern souvenirs.

And more inclined to credit card consumption, in the first time to tourists in China, 50% of tourists hope that Chinese merchants can generally credit card consumption.

The survey shows that for the Chinese garment enterprises, the "Olympic business opportunity" does exist. Under such circumstances, the traffic control before the Olympic preparatory stage and the resulting increase in logistics costs have become less annoying.

"China not only has many attractions and attractions to attract international tourists, but also provides a unique shopping experience for visitors to China.

With the arrival of a large number of tourists during the Olympic Games, there will be an Olympic shopping trend in China in August this year.
