The "family factory" is different from the workshop production of the regular factory. It has certain machine equipment, but the investment is not big, the scale is small, the product root, the market is flexible and tailored, and is produced and processed in its own courtyard.

It is understood that the "courtyard economy" in Huayuan was first and most concentrated in Miao embroidery, bamboo ware and wood processing industry. Now it has been widely applied to many fields, such as shoemaking, brick making, agricultural products processing, and so on.

The farmers who started the "family factory" were originally just one or two households, and then gradually extended to dozens of households. After a series of layers of promotion, the industrial expansion mode of "point to point" led to many "entrepreneurial farmers" and "wage farmers".

In recent years, the "courtyard economy" has played a great role in promoting local entrepreneurship and leading the masses to become rich.

The county has further increased its support, and has introduced a series of preferential policies in terms of market access, enterprise registration, electricity consumption, land use and credit, so as to encourage qualified migrant workers to run "family factories".
