"The thicker the quilt in winter, the more comfortable it will be?", The group standard defines the main indicator factors that need to be considered in the comfort evaluation of quilted products. From the four dimensions of thermal and wet comfort, contact comfort, pressure comfort and sensory comfort, through the professional technical test evaluation and user experience evaluation of 14 secondary indicators, it provides a comprehensive, objective and scientific evaluation standard for the comfort of quilted products.

"We hope that the release of group standards can link consumers and enterprises. On the one hand, it can provide a scientific basis for consumers to choose safe and comfortable quilt products, on the other hand, it can guide and promote the technical innovation of the product supply side of home textile enterprises, and promote the innovative development of the entire home textile industry." Xue Wenliang said on the second day, The release of the group's standards can not only help consumers choose comfortable, safe and durable quilt products, but also guide and promote the manufacturers of quilt products to improve product quality and technical level, promote the healthy development of the home textile industry, enable people to scientifically select "quilts" with "standards" to follow, and enable home textile enterprises to accurately innovate with "standards" to follow.

It is understood that under the cooperation of Donghua University, Shanghai Mercury Home Textiles Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Fiber Inspection Institute, the group standard has investigated the needs of more than 100 consumers for the comfort of quilt products over a year, collected more than 20000 pieces of consumer online comment information, and finally formulated the evaluation indicators and test evaluation methods for the comfort of quilt products.

The comfortableness of quilts is affected by the sleeping environment and user feelings. The original home textile related standards mainly focus on the physical and chemical properties of products, and the evaluation results are quite different from the real use feelings of consumers. In order to bid farewell to a single evaluation standard and make the comfortableness of quilts "measurable" and "perceptible", Professor Xue Wenliang's team innovatively proposed a combination of objective testing and sensory evaluation, making the comfortableness evaluation more comprehensive. For example, set professional indicators including moisture permeability, coefficient of contact cooling sensation, fabric softness, puffiness, compression resilience, etc., and test them by means of textile professional testing methods such as moisture resistance test, fabric stiffness test, so that the experimental data can "speak" and the judgment of quilt comfort can be more scientific.

It is worth mentioning that this group standard, starting from the user's sleep experience, subdivides the user's evaluation of comfort into the secondary indicators of stuffiness, itching, softness, close fitting comfort, visual comfort, olfactory comfort, and auditory comfort, and scientifically matches different weights to truly consider the comfortableness of quilts from the perspective of touch, vision, hearing, and smell. For example, when choosing winter quilts, consumers not only need to consider whether the quilt products they choose meet their own needs for sleeping environment temperature, but also can select the most suitable product type in combination with the breathability and moisture permeability of the products, the warmth and itching sensation of the fabric, the softness, the sense of fit, and the visual comfort, so as to improve the comfort of the body during sleep, It is conducive to the improvement of sleep quality.

Industry insiders pointed out that the evaluation guide formed by this group standard provides guidance for enterprises to develop new products or improve and upgrade products. For example, enterprises can determine the weight of each indicator according to the use environment of the developed quilt products, and conduct comparative analysis of product materials from multiple indicator dimensions such as product warmth retention, air permeability, moisture permeability, fabric contact warmth and softness, so as to finally determine the appropriate direction of product innovation and development, and more accurately develop products that meet consumers' sleep environment needs.
