Inner Mongolia Cashmere Industry Development Seminar Was Successfully Held In Chifeng

From May 9 to 10, Liu Jiaqiang, Chairman of the China Woolen Association, led a team to Chifeng City to conduct research on the adjustment and upgrading of cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia, the carbon footprint accounting and evaluation of cashmere products, Chifeng Dongrong Cashmere Development (Group) Co., Ltd. and Chifeng's efforts to build a cashmere industry cluster in eastern Mongolia.

Liu Jiaqiang, President, Liu Yan, Vice President and Liu Dan, Vice President of China Wool Textile Industry Association; Wang Li, Director of Inner Mongolia Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, Li Xiaomei, Chief Engineer; Han Yuhai, Director of Hongshan Industrial Park Management Office of Chifeng High tech Zone; Cheng Xudong, Chairman of Chifeng Dongrong Group, Yang Guiqing, Vice President of the Company, and Li Xing, Manager of Quality Department; Dai Tana, General Manager of Inner Mongolia Erdos Cashmere Group, Chen Shuoying, Deputy Director of Marketing Department of Inner Mongolia Erdos Garment Co., Ltd; Wang Laili, a professor of Zhejiang University of Technology, and his research team participated in the research and exchange forum.

Chifeng, as the first stop of the series of research on the sustainable development of the adjustment and upgrading of the cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia, held a seminar on the development of the cashmere industry in Inner Mongolia jointly by the China Woolen Association and the Cashmere Industry Promotion Association of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in Dongrong Group on May 9. The meeting focused on issues such as consolidating the core advantages of the main high-quality cashmere producing areas in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region under the current macroeconomic background, adjusting and upgrading the cashmere industry and sustainable development, and building a safe and stable high-quality supply system for cashmere raw materials, products and markets. The experts at the meeting deeply analyzed the international and domestic raw material and product market environment, the cashmere industry environment in Inner Mongolia, the development advantages and disadvantages, and the opportunities and challenges facing the whole industry chain from their respective professional fields.

During their stay in Chifeng, the research team also visited the Hanshan White Cashmere Goat Farm and held a symposium in groups.
