Wudi, Shandong: Cotton Harvesting Mode In Saline Alkali Land
On September 19, cotton farmers in Xixiaowang Town, Wudi County, Shandong Province were collecting new cotton.
At present, in the first batch of national strong agricultural towns - Xixiaowang Town, Wudi County, Shandong Province, 60000 mu of cotton in saline alkali land has entered the harvest season. In recent years, Xixiaowang Town has used saline alkali land to plant cotton, with an average of 2.6 mu per capita. The saline alkali land has become a "cornucopia", and the cotton industry has become a local characteristic industry to enrich people and strengthen the town.
