XPCC will deepen the structural reform of agricultural supply side, highlight the guidance of high quality and good price, strengthen the quality collaborative management of cotton industry chain, and further establish the brand image of high-quality cotton of XPCC. In 2021, the Corps sown 13.052 million mu of cotton, with a total lint yield of 2.083 million tons, accounting for 28.73% of the country's cotton planting area, producing 36.35% of the country's lint.

BINGTUAN issued the "cotton quality improvement action plan" and so on, paid close attention to the quality management of the whole cotton industry chain, and promoted the high-quality development of the corps cotton industry. The relevant departments of XPCC and division and city shall strengthen the supervision of key links affecting cotton quality such as picking, purchasing and processing, standardize the processing behavior of cotton enterprises, and improve the quality and efficiency of cotton industry development; Promoting cooperatives to play a better role in cotton production, and implementing various technical measures such as field management, harvesting and sales, etc., have provided guarantee for improving cotton quality.

The relevant person in charge of the agricultural and rural Bureau of XPCC said that the XPCC will continue to adhere to the policy guidance of high quality and good price this year, select excellent cotton varieties, improve the consistency and uniformity of raw cotton, strengthen the guidance and service of cultivation technology, actively promote key technologies such as "dry sowing and wet out", so as to further improve the quality of cotton.
