Figures released by the General Administration of Customs on 14 may show that in 2008, the total revenue of the customs revenue was 916 billion 110 million yuan, which was 157 billion 640 million yuan more than that in 2007, an increase of 20.8% and a new increase in income.

According to customs statistics, customs revenue in 2008 was 177 billion yuan, an increase of 23.6% over the same period last year, and the import link tax revenue was 739 billion 110 million yuan, an increase of 20.1%.

The two parties jointly completed 108.35% of the annual customs tax plan of 845 billion 500 million yuan.

In recent years, customs revenue has increased year by year.

In 2003 and 2004, the revenue increased by over 100 billion yuan in two consecutive years. In 2005, customs revenue increased by about 50000000000 yuan on the basis of a high base last year, a about 80000000000 yuan increase in 2006, and a 148 billion 40 million yuan increase in 2007 compared with 2006.
