Recycling System Of Recycled Clothing "Regeneration"

It is reported that "supporting the recycling of waste textiles" has been clearly written into the upcoming "China textile industry" 12th Five-Year plan, and has become one of the main policies guiding the development direction of China's textile industry in the next 5 years.

Recycled garments

How to regenerate

The regenerated garment is the recycling and reuse of waste silk and rubber blocks, waste fibers from textile factories, leftover bits and pieces of garment factories, waste polyester bottles and waste clothes produced in the process of textile production.

It belongs to one of the regenerated textiles.

Then, how to ensure the hygiene, safety and quality of regenerated garments? Wang Weimin, general manager of Zhengzhou Hongda spinning new technology consulting Co., Ltd., said: "recycled clothing will be strictly cleaned and sterilized during the production process, and there are strict testing indicators for all kinds of bacteria, odor, impurities, reagents and other chemical reagents to ensure its hygiene and safety problems. There is no difference in the quality and performance between the recycled garment and the non recycled garment.

On the contrary, because of the difference in thickness and other aspects of ordinary natural fibers, the quality of fibers is uneven. However, the quality of recycled fibers made by finishing and reprocessing is consistent, so the quality of recycled garments will be improved.

The development of science and technology in the textile industry in 11th Five-Year shows that the production capacity of recycled fiber reaches 7 million tons and the output reaches 4 million tons.

Polyester fiber and cellulose fiber are the two largest fibers used in making recycled clothing, and others such as waste wool and silk are also used.

Statistics show that in 2010, China's fiber processing volume reached 41 million 300 thousand tons, an increase of about 60% over 2005.

Among them, the annual output of clothing is 28 billion 500 million.

In China, the consumption of raw materials such as cotton, wool, silk, hemp and other non renewable resources, such as raw materials, such as cotton, wool, silk and linen, is very large every year. Most of the textiles will be disposed of after a few years.

Zhao Guoliang, a professor at the school of materials science and engineering, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, said: "the recycling of waste textiles is very necessary from the point of view of resource conservation or environmental protection. But so far, the recycling of waste textiles in China is mostly confined to a number of clothing and fabric enterprises themselves, especially in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces."

According to the upcoming 12th Five-Year plan of China's textile industry, China will initially set up a textile recycling fiber recycling system in the next 5 years.

By 2015, the total fiber processing capacity is expected to reach 51 million 500 thousand tons, of which about 15% is recycled fiber.

Standard policy

guide

The recycling of waste textiles has already been carried out in foreign countries.

In 1979, a paper company in the United States produced high-quality coin making paper from waste textiles, and developed new technologies for recycling and reusing waste textiles.

In April 10, 2008, the European Parliament Environmental Committee proposed the textile waste recycling and reusing bill in the second amendment to the EU Waste Directive, proposing that EU countries must build a recycling system for textile waste by the end of 2015.

Wang Weimin said that the recycling and reuse of waste textiles is a new industry with abundant resources, low investment and significant benefits. It can not only alleviate the shortage of resources in the textile industry, but also reduce the pollution caused by the textile industry to the environment.

"The next step is that the government can conduct policy guidance and encouragement in the two aspects of capital and tax revenue to implement the recycling and utilization of waste textiles, formulate laws and regulations and corresponding standards, guide and regulate the recycling process of waste textiles, enhance people's awareness of the reuse and utilization of waste clothing, and enable people to gradually accept recycled clothing."

Zhao Guoliang said that he could also learn from western countries' practice of setting up specialized recycling points for textile and clothing in cities, and concentrate on recycling and sorting out, and establish a standardized and unified recycling channel for waste textiles as soon as possible.
