Equity Listed Stock

stock right

The date of registration is a date specified when a listed company distribues dividends or shares allotment, before the closing date.

shares

Shareholders entitled to receive dividends are entitled to registration deadline for "entitled stock" or "interest bearing stock".

Only shareholders who register on the register of shareholders before the date of stock registration have the right to share.

dividend

Investors holding shares of the stock after the closing date of the day enjoy the right to share dividends, which is usually called "registration day" or "R day".

The reason is that the registration date is due to the fact that the exchange will seriously check the relevant information after the closing date, and check the investors who enjoy the rights of dividends allotment. All the processes will be automatically completed by the host of the exchange, without the need for investors to go through the registration formalities. This is also an advantage of the paperless paction of securities.
