More than 20 transboundary artists from architecture, painting, sculpture and horticulture opened the "CHIC2010 Hardrive Fashion Art Gallery" for the first time in the gallery. The exhibition of 33 pieces of art explains the artists' unique understanding and sincere expression of "fashion".


Every year when CHIC is held in March, the organizers will build a best platform for both domestic and foreign brands and designers to display creativity and fashion art. The work of the last CHIC Gallery has left ample room for expression for artists. At the same time, the artistic elements provided by CHIC for artists are mostly related to clothing. Most of the works are made of materials related to clothing and textiles, which can be said to be a natural combination of clothing and art, and a perfect combination of practicality and aesthetics.


Nowadays, clothing has already surpassed the most basic use of "shelter". People's demand for clothes has also risen to the height of artistic conception, personal identity and so on. Often, consumers choose a clothing brand, or a garment, not to see how expensive and good it is, but what the brand can convey to us.


I still remember the work of Donna, a female pioneer artist. She painted with different "mechanism things" rather than brushes. Her theme of creation can always explore the aspiration and search of urban white-collar workers through the glitzy material surface. Donna's usual "anti metaphor" technique is also good at using cloth or sewing related elements.


In Germany, Zou Cao, who is known for his pop art, also appeared in the art gallery at that time. His material was selected from Hardrive's clothing accessories. Zou Cao, known as "contemporary Danny Warhol", reproduced contemporary pop art in his works.


Any brand should have life, where can it be found? The brilliant artistic civilization created by human civilization for thousands of years is probably the best treasure.


Some people will ask: why has China not yet seen a big international brand? We must know that the foundation of our domestic clothing brand is too shallow. If we want to have culture, we must have roots and catch up. Not for the sake of the trend, every dress should have a spirit.
